Is this garage ready
No, this model is not garage ready. We do not recommend installing non-garage-ready refrigerators in locations where temperatures may fall below 55°F or rise above 100°F, as the unit may not perform properly. Will this refrigerator work in the garage?
It is not recommended to place a refrigerator in an unheated location, such as a garage, porch, or unheated room, where the temperature is likely to fall below 60° Fahrenheit. As the temperature drops below 60° Fahrenheit, the refrigerator becomes less efficient and will continue to lose efficiency as the outdoor temperature decreases. There are some GE Appliances refrigerator models that are Garage-Ready. These refrigerators are specifically designed to perform properly in ambient temperatures as low as 38° Fahrenheit to as high as 110° Fahrenheit.
