Product description

Experience the perfect blend of power and precision with this GE appliance duo, designed to simplify your laundry routine and elevate your home. The top-load washer offers intuitive water level control, allowing you to customize each load for optimal cleaning while saving water. Its dual-action agitator gently yet effectively removes stains and dirt, while the quick wash cycle gets your clothes clean in under 24 minutes. Paired with the electric dryer featuring Sensor Dry technology, this set ensures your clothes are perfectly dried every time, preventing over-drying and saving energy. The dryer's wrinkle care option minimizes ironing, and the high-performance venting system provides flexible installation options. With durable construction and innovative features, this GE washer and dryer set is built to handle all of life's laundry challenges, making it an ideal addition to any modern home.

I purchased this new dryer three days ago. It took 120 minutes to dry three work shirts and pants. Somethings wrong.

For the best drying performance, check the vent duct for kinks or clogs and ensure the load is properly sorted thick, heavy, bulky fabrics need more dry time than lightweight fabrics. When using Sensor settings, a small load may not create enough moisture to sense properly and may shut off too soon. Use a larger load or use the Timed Dry settings. Hello we recenty purchased our model GTW585BPVDG washer. It seems to work well except... One problem though, the controi panel stays lit with previous cycle, even after turning it off, it turns itself back on. Does it require service?

This model's control panel lights will stay illuminated for approximately 5 minutes after the cycle is complete. Pressing the power button will turn the display off. If the display turns back on unprompted, the unit will require service. Please call 1-855-620-8372 to schedule warranty service with a Bodewell technician.

What am I doing wrong? Quick cycle washing over an hour and doesn’t spin clothes

We'd like to provide information about Quick Wash, and assist with the issue you're having with spinning. Model GTW585BPVDG's Quick Wash feature is estimated to take about 24 minutes using the default settings; this can take longer if other settings besides the default are selected, if the soil level of the items is high, etc. We recommend loading items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, and ensuring the washer is leveled. The washer becoming unbalanced can also add to the cycle time, and those steps will help it to stay balanced. The unit becoming unbalanced may also cause an issue with spinning. You can view more information about loading and leveling, as well as other troubleshooting, in an article on our GE Appliances website titled "Top Load Washer - Wet Clothes Concerns". We also have an article with tips about an issue with spinning titled "Top Load Washer - Does Not Spin". Those articles can be viewed when you look up the titles and click the 'Support' tab. If you continue to have issues, an appointment can be made with one of our Bodewell service technicians by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL.

Just got my washer set up. Which fabric softener dispenser is recommended to use? The drawer at the top with the detergent slot? Or the spot in the top of the agitator? What’s the difference?

Use the dispenser in the agitator for fabric softener. The top dispenser is for liquid chlorine bleach only. High efficiency detergent should be added directly to the bottom of the wash basket before loading clothes.

Can I wash a queen bed comforter

Yes, a queen-sized comforter can be washed in this washer.

? GTW585BPVDG is filling with water, agitates for around 15 seconds, then powers off and drains. Will not allow me to power on until fully drained. What is causing this issue? Unit is about 7 months old.

We want to help you with your washer powering off and draining during operation. We recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
