Then, press the "Timer Off" button and use the arrow up and down keys to select the number of hours until the unit turns off, ranging from 1 to 24 hours. Wait a few seconds for the setting to lock in; the "Timer Off" light will stay illuminated. To set the Timer On, make sure the AC is plugged in but turned off (standby mode). Press the "Timer" button and use the arrow keys to choose the number of hours until it turns on, also from 1 to 24 hours. Once set, the "Timer On" light will illuminate. For example, if you want the unit to turn off at 6:00 PM, you will need to turn on the unit at 1:00PM. Press the "Timer Off" button, and use the up arrow to set 5 hours.
