Does unit have drain plug. If on second floor how do you drain unit
The AC slings excess water onto the condenser to make it more efficient and to cool it down. There’s also a hot coil on the base pan to zap extra water left over. On really humid days, you can simply tilt the unit to help release any additional water built up (but not necessary for normal operation).

It starts at around 50 dBs with the compressor on. Lower in just fan only mode.
