What is a good replacement for this model?
If you are replacing an over-the-range microwave, the good news is that any of our 30" over-the-range microwave models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range microwave. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. Installed PVM9005SJSS. Top cabinet 12"D. Sides are 15"D. Door opens only 40°. Bump out would add 3". I only have 1.5" of cabinet bottom to move top screws forward. DIY suggestions to bump out 1.5"? Safe for a 2x4 over the range to gain 1.5"?
We recommend reaching out to a local cabinet maker if the standard 12" or 15" cabinets are not applicable for installation. Be sure to allow a 30” minimum clearance between the surface units of your range below and the bottom of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet

This microwave measures 15 1/2" in the front and 16 1/8" in the rear H x 29 7/8" W x 15 9/16" D. The cabinet above the microwave must be a minimum of 11 1/2" - a maximum of 14 5/8"D. does this microwave come with a left to right door opening
This model is offered with hinges on the left/handle on the right only. The door cannot be reversed.
What's a good ge profile microwave replacement for pnm1971sr1ss
Two models to consider are PVM9225SRSS and PVM9215SKSS. Both models come from the factory to vent externally but can be converted to non-vented/recirculating like your current microwave. This done at the time of installation.
Willa 9 X 13 pan fit and rotate?
No, a 9" x 13" rectangular pan will not fit and rotate in this model. Most 9" x 13" rectangular pans have a diagonal measurement of approximately 15.8". Is the vent recirculating
